In a PEOPLE cover story in March, Bertinelli called her experience a "deep life changing lesson," adding, "Oh god, did I learn a lot." The 65-year-old was married to Eddie Van Halen from 1981–2007 and to Tom Vitale from 2011–2022; she dated writer Mike Goodnough for 10 months before their split in November 2024. She says she might date again but plans to be cautious and quiet about it while she watches how things unfold.
