Podcast reveal: a pledge to change

On the May 13 IMPAULSIVE podcast with Logan Paul and Mike Majlak, Peters admitted he had been "overdoing" stimulants and said he hasn’t taken drugs since the episode. He also declared he would largely avoid alcohol and explained he’d used substances partly to appear "normie," while noting he believes he is neurodivergent.

Controversy and charges

Peters’s online persona, tied to the divisive "looksmaxxing" community, has drawn backlash for repeated use of a racial slur and for admitting to illegal drug use to maintain his image. He has faced legal troubles: a March arrest on battery allegations after a video of a fight, an April lawsuit from influencer Alorah Ziva alleging battery and related claims (which he disputes), and a May misdemeanor charge alleging he discharged a firearm in the Everglades after a video surfaced of people appearing to shoot at a dead alligator. Authorities say they are investigating; Peters’s attorney has denied harm occurred.
