What reportedly happened

According to police reports, officers responded on the evening of May 12 to the fourth floor of Voute Hall after a complaint of a man and woman fighting. A resident advisor told investigators she saw the pair pushing and said Hutchins grabbed the woman by the neck, writing that he accused her of cheating and "choked and yelled." The RA described the hold as a firm grab rather than strangulation. The woman declined to have a photo of her neck taken and appeared visibly upset, though she wrote in a statement that she was "ok nothing happened," per the report.
