Attorney Pushback

Kapri’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ the booking was a “self surrender” tied to an investigation that took months, calling prior arrests “unfounded” and saying Kodak is being targeted. PEOPLE contacted Cohen and the sheriff’s office for comment.

Earlier MDMA Charge

On May 6 Kapri was arrested on a felony trafficking in MDMA charge linked to an alleged November Orlando incident that involved reported gunfire near the Children’s Safety Village. An affidavit says officers smelled marijuana, found items and drugs in a vehicle that allegedly matched Instagram posts by Kapri. He pleaded not guilty May 7, asked for a jury trial, and a judge set bond at $75,000; he later bonded out.
